As Shark's longtime State of Vermont client, Vermont Captive reached a new milesstone of 1000 Captive insurance companies domiciled in the state of Vermont, Governor Shumlin and Dan Towle held a press conference to make the announcement. A series of "1000" ads and graphics commemorating the achievement have been designed by the agency for online and traditional media.

New Ads from Shark Communications set sophisticated tone for Boston, MA-based bank.

Burlington, VT – September 2013 – A blend of creativity and sophistication sets the tone for new bank advertising from Shark Communications. Designed by Shark for Boston-based client Brookline Bank, the new marketing campaign features a series of upscale and stylish images, text, and headlines positioning the bank as a valuable partner to its customers. Initial ads to be launched include an image of a barefoot couple on a beach paired with the headline "Calm is three days with your shoes off... knowing your bank is always on." and an image of a luxury sports car with the headline "Exhilaration is shifting into high gear... and knowing your bank can too." The ads build on bank marketing initiated and designed by Shark in 2008, intended to reposition and broaden Brookline Bank's appeal to include a younger customer demographic.
Peter Jacobs, Shark Communications' Creative Director noted, "The new brand ads for Brookline Bank represent CEO Paul Perrault and Brookline executive management's preference for marketing that places more weight on well-crafted, well-managed brand image marketing. It's not only a smart and sophisticated bank marketing strategy, but quite different from most bank advertising that tends to lean toward more standard themes — community, trust, savings rates — with images that include head shots of smiling employees."
The new advertising (which can be seen on Shark Communication's website at www.sharkcomm.com) rolls out across the Greater Boston metro area as an integrated digital and traditional media campaign. Media channels include search engine display networks, direct placement and online media buys, mobile advertising, print media, outdoor, and posters inside Brookline Bank branch offices.
